Braddock Gaskill, the designer of the device, hopes this will make
Wikipedia and other content-heavy digital sources available to people
with no Internet but have old-fashioned TVs. I see this device as
complementary to OLPC rather than being competition. It targets a
different portion of the digital divide.

He's also looking for advice on marketing and funding production of
this device, which could be very cheap ($10-20) if scaled up to the
