AGENDA:

* New Libraries Coming!
  http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Projects#XO_Laptop_Lending_Libraries

* Which projects might you enjoy Mentoring?!
  http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Projects
  http://rt.laptop.org/Search/Results.html?Query=Queue=%27contributors%27

* Fast Review of the 2 latest (greatest!) HW/Project Proposals -- please
join us advocating for and/or reviewing shortcomings of these proposals:

1. Science Link Bettws(UK) and Uganda

   http://rt.laptop.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=41750
   http://www.scienceatbettws.org.uk

   Requests 10 XO's for 12 months

   Project Objectives:
To devise and trial a scalable framework for the support of teachers in developing areas by other, more resourced teachers.
o Create and collaborate on wiki based teaching resources
o Create and share students based educational tracking e-portfolio, using wikis
o Create and share cheap to manufacture USB sensors for the logging of data (temperature / voltage etc etc)

2. OLPC - Honduras [Massachusetts, USA]
   http://rt.laptop.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=41820

   Requests 2 XO's for 3-6 months

   Project Objectives:
Few of the locations run by Mission Honduras presently have internet
access, or PC/Laptop access for the education centers. I would like to
take the OLPC laptops on my trip to Honduras (leaving on June 24) to
validate their work-ability and then come up with a bigger plan to allow
these children (approximately 1300 – between Honduras, Liberia and the
Dominican Republic) to receive an OLPC to help improve their lives.
Ultimately, it will improve the education and technical skills to the
school children that should allow them a better life.
