and now it types in red. Cannot see stop button on the little screen but

journal search.

Social calc version 5 failed to launch correctly - get a white screen with
just the frame at top displaying activity name, share icon, keep and stop.
Got logs. Tried again later and it works.
Typing turtle version 26 worked but it was extremely fast
Write version 69 - tested the font sets and found problems with Hershey

* Acer Aspire 1 D250 x 1
Has wireless access
Browse version 115 - could connect and could view webpages
Write version 69 - collaborative over jabber.sugarlabs.org worked! w00t!
with satelit in Oregon, Tried changing colour but still seems to write in
orginal colour. See image added by other user.
Memorize version - solo play of addition - on first match of cards there is
no success card displayed on left, and now stuck on choosing a card from the
cards labeled as 2 not 1 but should be able to choose card labeled 1 first.
Started memorize again. This time get the image of me on left.
Chat version 66 collaborated with others well.
Abacus version 9 worked (but no collaboration).
Function keys for changing views only work with capslock on. Restarted
computer, now can use function keys with and without capslock on.
F6 is backlight key. F11 and F12 alter volume. F1 to F4 change views. Found
"alt shift f" gives us frame and "alt shift o" gives journal search.

*Macbook running virtualbox x 1
Used instructions from
http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/VirtualBox/Preparing_a_disk_image but didn't
follow the part about virtualbox client utilities or screen size as that was
too complicated.
Network and collaboration via standard jabber.sugarlabs.com worked with
"NAT" network adapter
Making virtualbox go fullscreen does not cause sugar to get any bigger --
the small sugar display stays the same size in the middle of the screen.
Write version 69 worked collaboratively.
Tamtam mini version 52 worked but sounds awful using "coresound" host and
ac97 guest
Browse version 115 worked and could download activities successfully.
Record version 66 did not work but virtualbox had no access to camera so
this is expected.

Funny moment - We were talking about Physics activity and Nevyn says "its a
time waster" - we asked why, and are now having a laugh about his next
statement - "does it have to be so engaging?" - that is just awesome
feedback for the physics activity developer - you have the ultimate in
success there. :-)

Enjoyed playing with satellit (Tom Gilliard) and Walter Bender via
jabber.sugarlabs.org - this is where you really see some exciting future
options for kids with international collaboration.
Talked with Walter about further Abacus development for sharing options.
We did not find keyboard shortcuts for rotate for SoaS on non XOs. Does that
matter?
Fabiana found some kids and gave them some XO-1.0s to play with. They were 4
year old twins. She set them up with maze.

Thanks volunteers :-)
Tabitha
