Hi George,

In general, you can get technical support by sending an e-mail to 
help at laptop.org. A team of volunteer support people pick those up and 
help walk people through issues.

I don't usually have a lot of time for issues like this so don't count 
on me for a quick turn around. Nonetheless, a few suggestions on your issue:

- Try selecting on a few activities to install (e.g. you can start with 
Browse and then use the that to download other activities). We have seen 
a few activities that are problematic and cause the system to stop 
updating. So it may be one or two of them that is stopping the whole 
process.

- In order to download the files linked from the release notes on a Mac 
you need to hold down the ctrl key then click.
