The certainty of a wire might be nice, but it would sacrifice the mobility of
a laptop.
Is there a USB-XO compatible wireless device? Many people actually have a
wireless router, with four Ethernet ports, as their wireless access point.
They have their DSL or cable modem plugged into one of the Ethernet ports,
and possibly have a desktop computer plugged into one of the other Ethernet
ports.
If they have difficulty connecting to their wireless router with their XO
laptop's radio, maybe a USB-XO compatible wireless device that could be
plugged into the USB port of the desktop computer would allow them to connect
to their home/office network, and thereby to the Internet.
I think such a USB-XO compatible wireless device exists because that is what
is being used for the school servers? The school servers are off-the-shelf
laptop computers with an XO compatible wireless device plugged into one of
the server's USB ports. Is that right?
