Confirmed, great.  Somehow this setting seems to be lost every time Release
12.1.0's "Browse" activity is relaunched, so a more permanent solution will
be needed eventually for 2014, such as that discussed below :}

Chris' solution is the "correct" nine months of upstream coordination
