Dear L10n Community,
The Honey project in Pootle is where Sugar Activities are hosted. These
actvities do not follow the regular Sugar Release cycle, and so Honey does
not necessarily get the same level of attention as the core Glucose/Fructose
pairs that make up the main Sugar user interface. Some of these activity PO
files had gotten out of synch with the git repo.
I am pleased to announce that I have gone over all of the activities in
Honey and synched up their PO files to the most recent version. In
addition, Rafael Ortiz has added a few activities that have requested Pootle
hosting. This means that there are hundreds of new strings in most
languages just waiting to be localized. Please note that we are still
working on the commit links for some of these activities, but please go
ahead and translate the strings anyway and the commit links will catch up in
time.
I also wanted to point you to this post announcing that OLPC Vietnam has
completed localization of the XO Help manual hosted on FLOSSManuals, perhaps
their accomplishment will inspire others here to undertake the same effort
in their own language.

The text of the XO manual is the content of the Help activity on an XO
laptop. If anyone would like to collaborate on working out an i18n and
build process for this somewhat unusually structured activity (much of it
consists of HTML documents as content) I would love to work with you to make
it easier for localizers to translate this and for users to access it in the
form of a preloaded Sugar Activity.
