I filed low-priority Sugar bug http://dev.laptop.org/ticket/8907 about
the silent failure, as it says the test case is
http://www.skierpage.com/olpc/bad_xol.xol

I filed bug http://dev.laptop.org/ticket/8906 , test case is
http://www.skierpage.com/olpc/test_xol.xol . This time I had no errors
on erase which cleared out the library; just the left-over file.
