I haven't worked on either of these yet.  If you (or anyone else)
get it working, please either email me or edit the DebXO wiki
page to describe the process.  I'm more than happy to include
that stuff in the next release.

Kernel stuff that I need to look into..

This won't happen, as the touchpad's Advanced mode is too
buggy (and newer XOs won't have stylus hardware at all).

I use the gnome build (for now); I'm relying entirely on others for
fixes to the other desktops.  Patches gratefully accepted.  :)
