Different projects has different channels of communication, depending
on the reason you are contacting them and the maintainer personal
tastes. As an activity author I would not be comfortable about being
contacted through semi-automated tools about bugs in my activity for
example. Maybe it's just me...

It doesn't allow you to report bugs semi-automatically. But it
certainly allows you to find out manually the bug tracker the project
uses.
