battery problems

Don't bother.  The handoff from trickle to full charge does not work 
properly.  I'm deep into chasing this bug right now.

It will never charge more than just barely enough for the one-wire bus 
to work and unless can look at battery + lines with a scope or VOM you 
can't tell.
