Bug reporting: firmware version, OS build and serial numbers.

When you report bugs (either on the mailing list or in trac), please
include this information.  It can really help us with problems.  For
example, given a serial number, we can figure out which second source
component may be in your unit, without disassembling the machine, and
this is very helpful to spot patterns in hardware issues.

Similarly, the firmware version will often tell us if a problem you see
may have already been fixed, and you just need an upgrade.

And similarly for driver bugs in the operating system: if you give us a
build number, it is possible to know if the bug may have already been
fixed.
