You would have to look at the trac tickets but I don't think any of them 
mentioned that they had reformatted so I think the corruption reports 
are on FAT.  FAT is less complex but also much less robust.

Since it involves suspend/resume I think the corruption problem is much 
deeper than just a failed write.
