 There is a bit of a screen "artifact" per se in that the current setup
 does not seem guaranteed to flush all new information to the external
 interface on its own (at least with the SISUSBVGA adapter brand we have).
 Mouse movement may be required to force the video output fully appear on
 the external interface.

 The most obvious example of this I see is to win a game of the Implode
 activity, and not move the mouse when the smiling face appears.  It also
 possible to cause this in certain other cases, but the Implode activity
 seems to be the most obvious to me.
