 If 'ul-warning' is so dangerous a command (it stalls an XO-1 as well), why
 does it even exist?

 Someone who wanted to see the UL warning could use 'shutdown -r now' --
 then the system would reboot (i.e., continue) after displaying that
 warning screen.
