 I am using a B4 XO-1 with OS8, the latest form F11 on XO-1, clean-
 installed.

I've enabled Automatic power management from the Control panel in sugar.
Now, when I try to disable it by unticking the check and confirming
changes, the modifications are not persistent. If I reopen the Power
window, the tick is still on. This is still the case after a restart.

I'm turning it off because, if the XO is idle for some time, it enters
sleep (the image remains, but I need to hit the Power button for it to
resume). After resuming, the wireless is disabled: ifconfig lists only the
loopback interface and Neighbourhood is empty.
