Comment:

 When I re-opened #9544 because of this *exact* same symptom, you yourself
 closed that ticket with the notation "At the moment we are only going to
 support connectivity to ad-hoc networks where peers that you want to talk
 to use link-local RFC3927 IP addressing."

 Opening #9768 now makes me feel that not all problem reporters get treated
 equally.
