Comment:

 Good point.  Although in #9544 there was no DHCP server, so there was no
 way to set an IP address in a manner that would be successful.

 Given Daniel's statement ''At the moment we are only going to support
 connectivity to ad-hoc networks where peers that you want to talk to use
 link-local RFC3927 IP addressing.'', I'll close this ticket.
