 I think Logout is too unintuitive -- I can imagine XO users never
 bothering to find out what that does.  I was thinking of either a "GNOME
 activity" in Sugar, or a control panel.

 There's also cscott's work on switching between Sugar and XFCE, which
 should be usable here:

 I guess I'm suggesting that we have Sugar and GNOME, and no display
 manager outside of those; the options to switch back and forth should be
 inside each desktop somehow.  (e.g. a control panel in Sugar and a desktop
 icon in GNOME).
