 I remember a tool called switchdesk . I think F11 still ships with it. We
 can use that for choosing the default (I don't think it knows about sugar
 yet - but that can be easily fixed).

 The question is, how do we expose this to the user


  * a way to switch from Sugar to GNOME
 Sugar->Logout->Choose GNOME in display manager -> Log in again ?


  * once you're in GNOME, a way to switch back
 GNOME->Logout->Choose Sugar in display manager -> Log in again ?


  * a way to set the default desktop
 In GNOME, use the gui which comes with switchdesk. In Sugar, use a control
 panel extension ??
