 Joyride 2635.  Manually (from Terminal) mounted an USB stick.  When I
 hovered in Frame over the invisible icon for that device, it showed me the
 palette for that icon.  When I clicked on 'Unmount' in that palette, the
 invisible icon for that device did not disappear from Frame - nor was the
 device unmounted.

 Same result with the invisible icon in Journal for that device - clicking
 on 'Unmount' affected neither the invisible icon in Journal, nor the
 device.

 Had to manually 'umount' the device (from Terminal).
