 Testing 8.2.1 candidate-800 on a G1G1v1 XO, firmware Q2E30.

I read an ebook for an hour or more (in normal laptop configuration, no
power management options checkmarked in Control Panel), then suspended via
powerbutton. Much to my surprise, the leftmost wlan keyhole LED stayed
ON. The power LED flashed slowly.

Several hours later, the battery LED was red, indicating that the wlan
drained the battery while the machine was supposedly suspended.

Is this a bug or a feature? There is no mesh network possible in my
neighbourhood (no other XO's). With 8.2 build 767, wlan shut down when I
suspended the XO, and battery did not drain much, which is good for me.
