 Relief!  I Shutdown/powered-up my XO to idle Home view, then successfully
 reproduced the bug using the Waiting Method (I used TimeT > 4 minutes
 while I had breakfast). The 'unexpected dimming' happens about 55 seconds
 after start of hands-off inactivity.  So the setup for the testing is
 easy:  Shutdown, then power-on until idle in Home view.  Haven't tried
 Restart yet.

 What timer is set for about 55 seconds?
