 thank you thomas for the new recipes.  i can now easily reproduce the
 PowerPlug method.

 because you and gnu both have had trouble reproducing the Waiting method,
 i rebooted
 before trying it, and had no trouble recreating it.  (i wrote this just
 before seeing
 thomas' comment #4.

 this is great.

 cjb: do you have outstanding work on this?  i'll be looking at it until
 you say you're on it or have something else to divert me with.

 thomas: ohmd has internal timers which are likely involved with what we're
 seeing.
