 Now on a second occasion, Sugar failed after the XO had been running for
 more than 24 hours -- and I had noticed nothing unusual between the time I
 booted the system, and the time I noticed Sugar not responding (Joyride,
 manually updated to 2214 equivalent).  The in-memory partition table for
 the USB hard drive had been corrupted.  I beleive the reason Sugar gave up
 the ghost was that errors were encountered accessing the swapfile, which
 was on that hard drive.  [By the way, in trying at the text console (ctl-
 alt-F2) to find out what had gone wrong, 'vi /var/log/messages' gave me
 "io error", just like the hard drive did.]
