 Given that a big priority of these laptops is to enable people to
 collaborate in shared activities, it just seems very awkward to start one.
 You must first select an activity, and start it, and leave it running
 while you go to the friends view, and then click the friend in order to
 invite them. Is there any way we could make it easier to invite one of
 your friends into the current activity?

 I humbly suggest that either:
  a) we should make it easier to select an activity to start with someone
 once you've found them in the neighbourhood or friends view; or
  b) we should make it easier to select a friend once you've started the
 activity you want to do (something like a + and a menu of your friends in
 the frame?)

 Or even both.
