I could see this with the model we have with the following test setup.
Three XOs and one regular laptop associated to Belkin router.
Two XOs doing flood ping to laptop while big file was downloaded from
 Internet.
All XOs received deauth from AP and on sniffer I could see AP restarting
 itself.
I could associate all XOs again with the same AP and could repeat this
failure without actually doing any power cycle/reset to AP.

I did not find any difference with p47 and p48. Both firmware versions
gave same results with build 653, OFW Q2d03 (one XO was running Q2d07).

Further, I found that large file download from internet, using http
through this AP on regular laptop, always failed, even though none of the
XOs were associated to this AP at that time.

The regular test laptop was running Windows XP SP2 with Intel pro 3945
 A/B/G card.

However, there were many 802.11 devices in that channel and I am not sure
if it was because of the environment. Also, I could browse internet
without any problem (sometimes I need to refresh page).

I am planning to run this in a shield box with one test having this AP and
regular laptop doing internet file transfer, and other test using this AP
, regular laptop and XOs to find out if AP is misbehaving or XO is causing
 AP to restart.

Let me know if you have any inputs on this or if you like to validate
 something else.

 Thanks and regards
 -Ashish

I could not see the problem when I put all XOs (total 4), regular laptop
and Belkin router in a RF shield box. Everything worked fine, no AP
restart, I could download 290MB files from Internet while XOs doing flood
ping, scp over mesh and infra.

In one instance I saw link lost in one of the XO but all others were
 working fine.

In summary, I guess it might be more of AP’s problem, which fails to
 handle busy environment.

It will be very useful if we get wireless firmware version reported in the
ticket and if possible sniffer capture when this problem occurs.

Please let me know if there are any inputs on this issue.

 Thanks and regards
 -Ashish
