Comment:

 We have working exif code for the Record activity (not committed), but we
 are in the midst of a long code freeze for u1.

 As soon as u1 goes out, exif data in the images will be in the next
 release.

 (As an aside, the video and audio ogg files have metadata tags embedded
 inside of them).
