 ExiF is very powerful on the binary level.  It would allow photos taken by
 the XO to found online through such sites like Flickr.  Mediawiki also
 accepts ExiF data, and it would be helpful (once we have more powerful
 search).

 By the content library conversations around January 24 2008, Exif Really
 should be implemented for the Search to go forward.  It would also help
 Social Media and Western relations.
