Comment:

 There is already a bug for "fixing" the browser's mime type handling; but
 not until upstream firefox has done so.  I'm personally not actually
 convinced it is a great idea for the browser to "guess" mime-types by
 extensions, anyway; security is better if you can verify a web entity's
 type matches what the server claims it to be and extensions are
 notoriously unreliable....
