enabled? Or put it into suspend by closeing the lid or pressing the power
 button?

I had Advanced Power Management checkmarked. But maybe it was inhibited
 elsewhere (see below).
I don't think I ever closed the lid.
I don't think I touched the Power button while observing My Battery stuck
at 72% for over an hour. I was running olpc-pwr-mon the whole time (log
 file attached).
So if I ever see My Battery stuck again, I should force a suspend by
closing the lid or touching the Power button, if I want My Battery to
 update.

The Test Group Release Notes says:
The main difference between joyride-2301 and joyride-2294 is that
2301 has had the automatic idle-suspend disabled. If you need to or want
to test how idle-suspend may or may not break things, use the following
commands in a virtual terminal to turn it on or off as needed.
To disable idle-suspend, type the following: touch /etc/ohm/inhibit-
 idle-suspend
To (re-)enable idle-suspend, type the following: rm /etc/ohm/inhibit-
 idle-suspend

Browse shows file:///etc/ohm/ now contains a file called inhibit-idle-
 suspend
but I did a complete new clean-install of joyride-2301 since I observed My
 Battery stuck.
Anyway, probably suspend was NOT working on my XO when I noticed the bug.

I'm not clear if this bug is diagnosed now, or is there still a mystery
about what caused it on my XO ? If I see it happen again I will try to
 guess what triggered it.
