 New request for G1G1 is to be able to choose an alternate Linux desktop.

 Requirements:
  * Minimum size to save flash
  * Only applications required at ship is: Firefox browser, Terminal,
 Configuration Editing, Directory browsing
  * Preferably be able to boot into one or the other for best performance
  * Minimize the amount of new code to minimize support

 We need to scope out this work effort and consider it for 8.2.
