 I'm seeing a "new" behavior here at home (a pretty low network traffic
 area):  the machine randomly starts ignoring pings and stays asleep.
 Pressing a keyboard key or the touchpad wakes it up and it continues to
 run (going back into suspend mode). To restart the ping/resume sequence,
 the machine has to be awake for one ping (which gets replied to).   It may
 have to be manually woken up several times before this happens, depending
 on the ping interval.

 Strictly speaking, this should be posted against #1752, as I was only
 pinging the machine once every five seconds (and in a very quiet WiFi
 neighborhood).   Running build 581 on both test and trigger laptops.  The
 test laptop was plugged in and had been ECOd for bug #1835.
