 Sorry, Wad, this is my fault -- I should have told you that you need to
 add a static ARP entry for the DUT on the pinging host, to avoid the ARP
 cache entry expiring and leaving you no way to wake it up remotely.

 It's not clear to me why the entry expires, when it's being seen once
 every few seconds.

 The process is:
