 If it's supposed to happen at boot time, it's not getting done...  Also
 note that the OOM error return happens when there is between 35000 and
 45000 "free" as noted from the Mem: line in top.  After about 45000 it
 starts working again, beneath that it doesn't.  We need to trace this down
 into gstreamer most likely and see if it's the driver of gstreamer too,
 I'm not 100% convinced it's the driver yet.
