#4160: Tab location violates Fitt's law

Fitt's law states: "The time to acquire a target is a function of the
distance to and size of the target." (
http://www.asktog.com/basics/firstPrinciples.html )
The current tabs are much too small, and they're required to interact with
virtually every activity (since we come up with the 'activity' tab
highlighted, which does none of the useful things, and then need to switch
back to 'activity' to close when we're done). If they were moved up to
the top or side of the screen, they would be effectively huge, and hitting
them would not be such a burden.
The 'Share with:' and activity title widgets also violate Fitt's law, as
their active area does not extend up to the first row of the screen.
