 I think you need to file this bug at http://bugzilla.kernel.org/ or an
 appropriate mailing list -- it's really not related to OLPC, we don't any
 devices that use that driver here, and it would be hard to justify
 spending time on it if we did..

 FWIW, we're using the pl2303 driver for our USB->serial devices, and it's
 never crashed.
