Comment:

 Please try "fc-cache -rf" after installing the fonts, and retry the pages,
 and report results.

 As no trials are to Chinese/Japanese speaking parts of the world, this
 cannot be classed as a blocker, for Trial-2 or for Trial-3; but I would
 like to get to the bottom of this sooner rather than later.
