[Testing] variances in 8.2.1

Is the testing group addressing only a predefined checklist, or are 
you also considering variances in behavior between 8.2.0 and 8.2.1 ?

For example, when the #7531 bypass (ctl-alt-F2) is used in a 
"shutdown hang" situation, 8.2.0 would normally show what I call the 
'ending' image (the one with I think 8 pictorial warnings and 5 
pictorial cautions).  8.2.1 does not show this image.  Is that 
difference significant ?
