dsh (http://www.netfort.gr.jp/~dancer/software/dsh.html.en) may also be
of interest. 

Polychronis and I also discussed an implementation of something like dsh
over Cerebro since we think that Cerebro's presence mechanisms would
make it much easier to add nodes on demand.
