[sugar] Sugar unusable as an e-book reader

Hi All,

I got the impression from this thread that the XO is mostly unusable as 
an eBook reader for our deployments:

I may have been too hasty in making that assumption. Can I get some 
comments on XO book reader modes which work well?

Any opinions? Is it fatally broken or does it just needs some tweaking 
to make it more usable?
