I hope the open source world (and school servers Writ Large!) don't
shoot-self-in-foot, denying what parents of young kids So Badly
Need...quickly customizable kid-safe routers that enhance learning (with
all their ominous implications).

Rather than Drowning Infants in manipulative commercialism. This new
product category is emerging at last!

While many families in the US chuck the entire decision over the fence,
paying Verizon $5/line for IP filtering being almost universal among
upper-class US parentd, baffled at this defining dilemma of our time.

Instead of throwing money at an anonymous bureaucracy, here are new options
to bring filtering control into the hands of your own family or small
school -- that we All can learn from:

1.

2. Cisco's http://opendns.com/home-internet-security
3. http://meetcircle.com "Circle with Disney hardware device is $99 and is
the first product in what Circle Media [founded 2013] hopes will be a suite
of hardware and software products for connected families in the future. The
company, based in Portland, is backed by $1.5 million in angel funding."

Food For Thought!! Families=Teachers Need Learning Recommendations...Not
Configuration Nightmares:
