[Server-devel] Managing presence across multiple groups

What is the easiest way to control access to various groups using the
presence service;

 

i.e. if we have four groups

 

Class 1A

Class 1B

Science Club

Teachers Area

 

Students in either class may be members of the Science club. But during
lessons we don't want students in Class 1A interacting with 1B etc. Likewise
Teachers Area. 

 

What is the best way to manage this sort of thing. Is there a way to log
into courses (i.e. Teachers can enter the teacher's area) or of turning the
presence on and off for individual courses?
