Do you have stats on ejabberdctl memory consumption with the 30
connected and active activity sharing? Using the ps_mem.py script
ideally (google for it).

Dead battery, ctrl-alt-erase and losing wifi connection are similar
from a 'gabble'/XMPP point of view: the client goes away without
telling the server about it.

Help researching and testing XMPP timeouts in ejabberd would be welcome :-)

Now, you say "full restart or ctrl-alt-erase"... a "full restart"
invoked from the on-screen menu is very different from ctrl-alt-erase.
If you do a shutdown or restart from the menu Sugar should tell the
server it's about to disconnect...

It may be a Sugar bug, or a race (Sugar issues the msg, but it doesn't
get sent in the short time while the system is shutting down). It
would be good if you could test explicitly for this.
