[Server-devel] Spreadsheet, Active Antenna, and this weekend

Wad,
Thanks. I tried to do the "driver" but got stopped at the step that said
"iwpriv eth1 boot2_upgrade". How would "eth1" be connected to the USB
that the active antenna is attached to? I tried msh0 instead, but that
didn't seem to work. But it did something... The good news is that
whatever I did put it into 31.09 mode, so I went back to the "user space"
method, and was able to get it back to 31.07 mode.

Tony,
If you follow the other method of upgrading an antenna, using the
driver method:
http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Active_Antenna_Reprogramming#Driver_Method
you should be fine upgrading from 3105.

You are "Fixing an Active Antenna", not "Upgrading a Mesh
Repeater". I will update
the wiki to be clearer about this. A Mesh Repeater is an active
antenna that just
has power applied --- it is not connected to a server. It simply
acts as another mesh
node, extending the mesh's reach.

This means you want to download Boot2_3107.bin and link it as
usb8388_boot2.bin,
where it says Boot2_311A.bin in the current "Driver Method"
instructions.

Hope this gets you rolling,
wad
