[Server-devel] Need Squid help

Hi Tony,
The directory /etc/httpd/conf.d  stores apache module specific files.
/etc/httpd/conf.d/squid.conf gives apache access to cache manager

I think /etc/squid/squid.conf is the main configuration file for squid. I am
not sure what /etc/squid.conf  does.

Also, if you do netstat and you see that apache is using port 3182, then i
guess you can always take it out or use squid with a different port. I think
if you run squid as a stand alone then you give it more ports like say 8080
or something. or maybe apache is working as proxy as Adrian said. what port
is squid listening to?
