Hi there,
for some this might seem like a cross-post, but I originally posted to the wrong list devel at lists.laptop.org instead of server-devel at lists.laptop.org.
A few nights ago I thought I'd get over my issues with build 150 and install Build 160.
I am using an ASUS M2N mobo with 2 (pci) usrobotics NICs (because the onboard nvidia NIC does not get recognized) and 2GB of RAM.
I also have 4 (identical) 500GB HDs connected to the mobo's sata
controller. This worked ok with build 150. As of build 160(+) I get
character soup trying to install any of these builds.
Red Hat distros usually try to turn 4 hdds into a raid 6 (which is -
imo - a good idea). Once I remove three of the four HDDs the install
goes through ok. I have not (yet) tried it with two or three HDDs
connected.
Thought you'd like to know.
Best regards
Stefan
