https://plot.ly/plot is an open-source web-based plotting engine built
(IIRC) using node.js and (some) python - check out their github for more
dets. It's lovely, and they're good people.
http://www.nonolithlabs.com/pixelpulse/ is a project I've worked on with
Kevin Mehall on and off over the last few years - probably faster than you
need, but we have decent abstractions for canvas plotting, updating data,
etc.
