Hi Sandra and The Curriculum Team,

I wonder if we should set up a separate mailing list for the curriculum
work.

I've talked to a "Tech-Savvy Teacher" she says:

Here are some programs that I know of

   *  http://mouse.org/
   * http://techyes.org/programs/techyes/
   * http://www.fbla-pbl.org/

At my school, we have added a stipulation to the techyes.org model
that the two projects need to be service projects, not just "tech
projects".

I agree about the bridging gender gap. It's the entry points for many
females into technology.

Does the Olin team have cycles to devote right now?

Here are some suggestions for what we could do next.

   1. Review the programs she has pointed us to looking for the following
      1. Could we partner with these people? Partnering helps with publicity
      and potentially content
      2. What can we learn from this site? Is there model curriculum we
      could use as a starting place?
      3. Is there content here that we want to include in our curriculum
   2. Brainstorm Learning Objectives
   3. Logistics
      1. How will kids get Sugar
      2. How will they know what needs testing?
      3. Where and how will they report bugs?
      4. How will they follow up and retest when bugs are fixed?
