[OLPC_Boston] Boston-area pilots: pushing communications to this public list

Hi, folks --

There's been some confusion lately about the status of local Boston-area
pilots, so I'm hereby instituting a new policy for emails about it that
cross my inbox:

1. Unless explicitly requested in the email's first line, all emails I
receive regarding Boston-area grassroots pilots news/arrangements/stuff
will be forwarded immediately to the olpc_boston mailing list with a
"please forward this to the list in the future" message addressed to the
sender.

2. I will not answer any questions myself about Boston-area grassroots
pilots unless the message has been sent to
http://lists.laptop.org/listinfo/olpc_boston.

The intent is to make the olpc_boston mailing list the one-stop public
gateway for local pilot conversations, and for all (or as close to all)
pilot conversations to be public. Without transparency and public
communications, a grassroots effort *will not work.* Please let me know
if you have any comments on my newfound habit.

I will be going through my old emails to find private messages that
should be posted to this list as well, and asking for permission to
forward that information.

Cheers,

--Mel

PS: I'm fairly certain that the individuals I've sent this email to are
also on the olpc_boston list, but wanted to make sure. ;)
